I get a little emotional at this time of the year…particularly on Thanksgiving Day. I think a lot of my grandma Colleen and how much she loved Thanksgiving…and I think a lot of my grandma Barb, who has shaped most of the traditions that I’ve adopted and evolved. This year, I’m thankful for my immediate family and for my extended family. Although my grandma Colleen is no longer with us to celebrate, I am so glad that my grandma Barb came and that we had a fantastic day…great food and even better company.

Ok…the last of the vacation pics! Yay!
While in FL, we went on a tour of the Everglades…not quite what I was expecting, but fun and educational nonetheless. =)
I could have skipped being a feast for the mosquito , but eh…it’s all good.

Last year, I posted every day in December as the 25 days of Christmas photos, so as I get ready for that, I’m going to be wrapping up the Project 52 with lots more vacation pics. I’ll post part 3 next week and then we’ll move on to Thanksgiving and then Christmas!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Florida for vacation. We had a GREAT time! Our trip started out with a deep sea fishing trip with Captain Jeff of Lady Helen Charters. We caught enough Mahi Mahi to feed us for the 2 weeks and then some! =)
